About Us

SJM Marketing provides freelance marketing and PR services. We were established in 2010 and are based in Lincolnshire.

We’re run by Susan McKeon, who is passionate about creative marketing and PR.  She has over 20 years’ experience of working for companies, both large and small, in developing and delivering marketing strategies and projects.

Susan is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Member of the Institute of Direct Marketing.  Whilst in full time employment, her work with companies has been shortlisted for, and won awards.

She has worked in senior marketing communications roles across a large number of industry sectors including: a regional airline, the Arts Council, a multinational software house, a regional building society, a Chamber of Commerce and a national estate agency chain.  Susan has a great breadth of experience and perspective that can be brought to any business.

Some examples of projects she has worked on include:

• The World Summit on Arts and Culture (2006) – 5 day, international conference attended by 500 delegates
• Re-branding for airline and building society
• Development of online and social media strategy
• PR campaign for national debate on the arts

As well as marketing and PR, Susan is an experienced dog trainer and currently runs puppy training and socialisation classes as Puppy School North Lincolnshire.  She is also a newspaper reviewer on BBC Lincolnshire's breakfast show and often participates in media interviews about dog related subjects.
